Anita Avakian is a Georgian-Armenian artist born in Ukraine.
Professionally in music since the age of 4. She started writing original music
in 2018, first releases in 2021.
From 2022, moving to Paris (war refugee status). Despite her difficult financial and mental
health situation, she continues to write, release music and perform.
In 2024, she independently created a solo concert in Paris, which became one of the
Top 3 best concerts in the history of the concert venue. (the full concert is available on YouTube)
The main focus of Anita's music is social and political themes.
Sharing her story as a survivor of abuse, discrimination, war (twice) and a person diagnosed with depression, she shows that this is only what happens to us but not who we are because individuality is stronger than the system.
The more the system puts pressure on the individual, the stronger the individual resists!
